About NIVO and Why This Award Matters

Founded in 1988, NIVO was originally established as a purchasing group for small and medium-sized regional vending operators. By working together, independent operators were able to compete on a level playing field with large international companies dominating the market at the time.

Fast-forward more than 35 years, and NIVO has grown into a powerful network of:

• Around 280 operator members

• Approximately 60 supply members

While purchasing power remains important, NIVO has evolved significantly. Today, its primary focus is on business support services for independent regional vending operators — including operational guidance, marketing support, industry insight, and collaboration opportunities. Supplier members also benefit from NIVO’s deep understanding of the vending market, helping bring the entire industry together in a meaningful and sustainable way.
